# How do swaps work on Feddex.Capital?
Swaps on Feddex.Capital let you exchange one Solana token for another through available liquidity routes.
When you choose a token pair and enter an amount, the platform prepares a quote based on available market routes. Before confirming, you should review the estimated output, price impact, fees, and transaction details.
## Basic swap flow
A normal swap usually works like this:
1. Connect your Solana wallet.
2. Choose the token you want to pay with.
3. Choose the token you want to receive.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Review the estimated output and price impact.
6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
7. Wait for the transaction to complete on Solana.
## Why can the final amount change?
The final amount can change because token prices and liquidity move quickly. Solana markets can update between the time a quote is displayed and the time your transaction is confirmed.
This is why slippage settings, price impact, and route quality are important.
## Before confirming a swap
Always check:
- the token you selected;
- the estimated output amount;
- price impact;
- slippage;
- wallet confirmation details;
- whether the token looks legitimate;
- whether the market has enough liquidity.
## Important reminder
Feddex.Capital does not guarantee token value, liquidity, safety, or future price performance. Always trade carefully.
